Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams has been very open with her struggles with depression & has spoke on the topic in many of her recent interviews. After years of battling with the mentally draining issue she is now seeking the help that she needs.
TMZ has reported that the 37 year old singer has checked into a facility for mental treatment. She has so far been at the facility for a few days & it’s located just outside of the city of Los Angeles. Just hours ago Williams delivered a message via her social media regarding mental illness.
During a recent visit to the daytime talk show The Talk she talked about not knowing or understanding what going on with her. She said, “ I didn’t know until I was in my thirties what was going on. I just thought it was growing pains. I’ve been suffering since the age of between 13 & 15. At that age I didn’t know what to call it.”
Our prayers go out to Michelle & hope that she find a genuine place of happiness. Mental issue is a problem that many people deal with, but unfortunately many do not seek the help that is needed.
