New music artists emerge everyday, but not all of them have what it takes to truly hold a solid place in the music industry, but Bobby Lytes is on his way to the top. The gained interest in for what Bobby had to offer during the first season of Love & Hip-Hop; Miami where he showcased his talents as an openly gay rapper. The rapper has released the new mixtape Slay The Throne & it pushed listeners to take him very seriously as a bonafide rap artist.

Take a listen after the jump.

Ahead of releasing the project Bobby took to social media to offer up an explanation on what inspired  him during the process of recording Slay The Throne. He says, "I was inspired by Jay Z & Kanye's joint album "Watch The Throne" it was a representation of me all the way around taking on the "music industry". I chose a different song each day that was on the @billboard TOP 10 and I
remixed it....."
