Singer Sammie is sending a strong response to budding superstar Cardi B as he delivers a response cover called "Thru My Phone". The song tackles a man's point of view of her version titled "Thru Your Phone" from the album Invasion Of Privacy where Cardi raps about not trusting her man.

On the K-City produced cover, Sammie sings about not being able to committ to his lady that is visibly hurting from the pain he is causing her.
“You’re heart is beating like it’s bleeding out / I’m sleeping like a baby,” he sings. “Everyone was right about me now (I’m creepin’) / You went thru my phone last night / Saw some things you didn’t like.”
