KEYSHIA COLE TO STAR IN & EXECUTIVE PRODUCE LIFETIME BIOPIC 'KEYSHIA COLE: THIS IS MY STORY'

Just a year ago singer Keyshia Cole said she had plans to release one last studio album, to retire from music & to create a movie that would tell her life story. It looks like Cole is bringing one of her wishes to fruition with a newly announced partnership with television network Lifetime.

Keyshia will make her acting debut as she is set to star in the upcoming biopic titled Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story. Lifetime is no stranger to delivering public figure based biopics as they have in the past released films about the lives of The Clark Sisters, Toni Braxton, Wendy Williams & Aaliyah. Keyshia Cole is working closely with the network in the production of the made for tv film & will also be an executive producer & to make things even better she will be recording new music for the movie. 

Cole's biopic will tell her story of her rise to fame with her music career & will also explore the relationship that she had with her birth mother Franie Lons who passed away in the Summer of 2021. 

"This is a story of a daughters love for her mother and although my heart remains broken from her untimely passing I am honored to be sharing it with the world.
