For months now fans have been tuning in from their home to the popular Verzuz Battles that have been streamed live on Instagram. The platform has already seen the like of Nelly vs. Ludacris, DMX vs. Snoop Doog, Jill Scott vs. Erykah Badu just to name a few. Many have wondered if Brandy & Monica would join in on a Verzuz Battle & in the beginning it look like it wouldn’t happen.

It was announced today (August 22) that both Brandy & Monica will be going head to head in a Verzuz Battle. The highly anticipated battle will take place at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta on August 31st at 8pm EST.
With the long list of hits that both of the extremely talented women have, the battle will be pure entertainment & a undeniable trip down memory lane.
