Cassie brought in the new year with a new man & she’s now ready to get back to the basics. The 32 year old is planning to relaunch her music career this year after being gone from the music scene for so long.
After breaking up with longtime hip-hop mogul boyfriend Diddy she is back in the studio with producing duo ChrisnTeeb. Cassie first hit the scene in 2006 with the hit record “Me & U” & after releasing her debut album with th help of Ryan Leslie she took on the role of being mainly known for dating Diddy.
When speaking about Cassie The Metro has this to say about the singer:
“Cassie was once in the same lane as Rihanna & Ciara but gave it up to be with Diddy. She’s ready to step out of his shadows & return to music with a major comeback this year.”
It will be interesting to see what Cassie can cook up with her comeback material & to see how much she has developed as an artist since her debut. ChrisnTeeb have collaborated with other artist such as Danity Kane, Olivia, Tiffany Evans, Ciara, & Jennifer Lopez in the past.
