WATCH: TAMAR BRAXTON REVEALS BEING MOLESTED AS A CHILD ON THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW

Tamar Braxton has been going through a public divorce from her husband/manager Vince Herbert, but she isn't allowing that to stop her from living her best life possible. As of lately she hasn't been spending much time on social media & she looks very happy & that could be because of the new man she has in her life. Today she stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to promote The Braxton Family Values where she dished on her new boo & so much more.

Wendy asked Braxton about the new man in her life who she revealed she is "in love" with as she smiled. The interview turned shocking all within a matter of moments when Tamar confessed that she was molested as a child. She spoke about her & her sisters having a session with Iyanla Vanzant for her show Fix My Life to help them sort out their issues.

Tamar ended up angrily leaving the session, but no one knew why until she revealed that as a child she was molested by members from both sides of her family. Tamar didn't go into any details or name anyone who had done this to her.


After the show aired Tamar went onto social media to reveal exactly why she revealed this painful secret to the world. The post came with a short video that featured the song "Prettiest Girl" from her Love A War album.

Today Wendy asked me what happened at my sisters meeting and why did I walk out. Since someone there decided that they would ask me about something so private, so embarrassing, so secretive in front of EVERYONE that was there, I felt like my life was flashing before my eyes and IMMEDIATELY started to cry. Not because someone decided to allow someone else to tell MY SECRET, not because I was asked if it were True in front of a hundred strangers, but because once again my right to choose was taken from me all over again.
