Nicki Minaj has been strategically planning her return & this week saw her the Hot 100 top 29 after the hotly anticipated release of the “Chun-Li” music video. Late last night the queen rocked the stage on Saturday Night Live setting television screens ablaze.
Minaj was welcomed on the late night show as the musical guest that was hosted by Tina Fey. She entered the stage to perform “Chun-Li” dresses in a costume that delivered all the flavors of the song. Beyond just reciting the songs catchy lyrics she surprised fans as she delivered some slick choreographed dance moves. Nicki served up a second performance with Playboi Carti for their joint collaboration “Poke It Out”.
In addition to rocking the stage, Nicki took part in a hilarious skit that wasn't displayed during the airing because of being short on timing. The skit also featured the evenings host Tina Fey, Aidy Bryant, & Kate McKinnon where the did a music video styled skit called "Friendship Song".
