The first season of Love & Hip-Hop: Miami was a total success & had an overflow of drama & drinking throwing. While the cattiness kept viewers entertained it was Afro-Latina artist Amara La Negra who intrigued viewers with her big afro & strong stance on colorism in the world. She put her music on a platform & delivered the beautiful song “Insecure”. The track is a definite hit & boasts a colorful Miami flavor that has a mainstream sound.
To further promote the single, Amara performed the song at the reunion for the hit VH1 reality show. She had the audience & fellow cast mates singing along.
