R&B SINGER CHANTÉ MOORE ACCUSED OF ITUNES FRAUD

Since the beginning Chanté Moore has been loved for her impeccable singing voice, but this time she isn’t making headlines for her talent. Today sees news surface that for reality tv star is being accused of using illegal money that she obtained to purchase her own studio albums.

More details after the cut.

Last year a lawsuit was filed by two men who were formerly her friends stating that Chanté knowingly took money that she completely knew they have gotten illegally to help deliver her new album.

In their lawsuit, the two men claim the defendants used some of their money to buy Moore plane tickets for her musical tour, lavish her with gifts, fund the production of and marketing campaign for her seventh album, “The Rise of the Phoenix,” and even to “pay off her significant personal debt.”
The plaintiffs even claim the investments made into her career “were designed in whole or in part to conceal or disguise the nature, the location, the source, the ownership, and the control of the proceeds” of the alleged illegal activity. (source)
To no surprise, Moore asked a court judge to dismiss the lawsuit & even denied the accusations. Even with the claims that she used the funds to purchase her albums via iTunes in hopes of securing a strong music chart position the album did not make it to the Billboard 200. Hopefully more details will surface regardig the lawsuit & Raw Hollywood will definitely keep you updated.
