Cardi B is on cloud 9 this week as she has received her first #1 hit with “Bodak Yellow” & she has received a platinum plaque for it. After the New was announced many celebrities joined in on congratulating the rapper including Taylor Swift The pop/country singer sent the Bronx mc flowers to show her support of the Billboard Hot 100 milestone that made history & dethroned her, but she is in full support of it.
Cardi B took to instagram showing off the beautiful flower that Swift sent to her with the captain, “Sooo beautiful and lovely. Thank you @taylorswift for the flowers ❤️❤️....and I freaking love your music.”
She dethroned Swift whose single “Look What You Made Me Do” held the #1 spot for three weeks ahead of “Bodak Yellow”. Cardi has expressed her love for Swift in the past, “I almost had it, right? I almost had it, but that damn Taylor Swift came out of nowhere like Hurricane Irma. That record, you know what? She did her thing.”
