Jhene Aiko is releasing new music and with everything that is going on with her relationships and status, it seems like she got all the way in her feelings with this track.
Don't waste your time trying to judge or talk about Jhene Aiko and her relationship choices cause she doesn't give a f**k anyway according to this track. It's clear that she is talking about rumored boyfriend Big Sean in this song as she sings over the acoustics:
"It hit me like a tidal wave, knew that I was in love with you right away.
You turned all my days to brighter days, even when people say what we do is not okay"
It's very coincidental that she dropped this song after it made headlines that she was filing for divorce from her husband. Also considering the speculation as to why the marriage was ended, this song just adds fuel to the fire. She refers to her beau as the Yin to her Yang in this track and how he is her perfect balance.
I'm in no place to judge, nor do I desire to. I do know that you cannot control who you love and who you fall in love with. While everything that has gone on may not have been right, it was a natural, especially since her and Sean have a joint album and have been touring together. I wish all parties involved the best, it's never easy to deal with break ups and relationship problems..... especially when you under a microscope (that's celebrities lives).
