Weeks before Beyonce’s charting Renaissance World Tour ended it was tons of speculation that Destiny’s Child would possibly be reuniting. It drove fans into pure excitement especially when the other 4 members were in attendance at the Houston show. Kelly Rowland has spoken out in a recent interview on the fate of a reunion.
Speaking with The Messenger, Rowland reveals that there isn’t a reunion in the works.
“Bey wrapping up Renaissance & getting ready for her movie, Michelle in the thick of her solo projects that she’s doing, & me in my solo space & all the things that I’m doing, that’s where my head is.”
“That’s where my heart is. That’s what I’m most excited about, with all due respect to Destiny’s Child. And should there be a space for that, we’ll see what happens. But as for right now, i’m so excited as to what I’m doing.“
This years marks the 25th anniversary of Destiny’s Child & earlier in the summer their official website displayed the message “25 Years new website coming soon”. Their is no denying that DC had a major impact on their fans & the world with their chart dominating music.
