Famed Empire actor Jussie Smollett has entered into a rehab facility. The last few years have been difficult for 41 year old actor & it seems that he is on a path of healing.
A rep for Smollett spoke with TMZ stating, “Jussie has had an extremely difficult past few years. He has quietly working very hard for some time now & we are proud of him for taking these necessary steps.”
According to his rep he is in an outpatient program getting whatever help he feels he needs. Back in 2019, Smollett was found guilty in a Chicago court for lying to police. According to Smollett he was physically attacked by Trump supporters who he says put a noose around his neck.
The alleged attackers are the Osundairo brothers who claim Jussie hired them to attack him. They also claim that they are his drug dealers who supplied him with illegal drugs on various occasions. Jussie was sentenced to 150 days in jail, but was later released at shirt time later for his appeal.
We hope that Jussie gets all the help he needs & it able to come back stronger & better than before.
