Tupac joins the likes of many Hollywood stars in receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 7th where his sister Sekyiwa 'Set' Shakur accepted the award on his behalf while radio personality Big Boy was the emcee of the event.

"He define the distinction between art & activism. Though his career lasted just five years, Tupac Shakur remains one of the most complex & prolific artists of his generation with over 75,000 records sold worldwide." - Bi Boy

Tupac's sister Sekyiwa spoke on her brother as she cried, "from the first time he stepped foot on this stage of the Apollo Theater at 3 years old, before anyone recognized his name, he knew he had the dream to have a star here on the walk of fame."

"Today we're not just honoring a star in the ground, but we're honoring the work & the passion that he's put into making his dreams come true. His heavenly star will shine a little brighter today. And once again, he has made us all extremely proud. We love you, Tupac."

Big Boy went onto celebrate Tupac by listing his many accomplishments throughout his short yet successful career. He spoke on the two museum exhibits that were dedicated to him called 'All Eyes On Me' & 'Tupac Shakur. Wake Me When I'm Free.' at L.A. Live in 2022.
