Cardi B is one of the most popular & successful hip-hop artists which has been proven with her streaming numbers over the years. As of this week on October 10th only three female raps songs in history have gained Diamond status by the RIAA for sales of 10 million in the U.S. Nicki Minaj’s fan favorite’Super Bass’ & Cardi’s ‘I Like It’ & the world wide track ‘Bodak Yellow’.
For Cardi’s 30th birthday it was announced that both of her songs gained Diamond status as of October 11th. On Tuesday the RIAA went to the media announcing that the songs from Cardi’s debut album Invasion of Privacy has gone 11x Platinum meaning they’ve sold 11 million copies in the U.S. alone.
The Bronx born rapstress is now the only female rapper to own a plaque with this high status certification which breaks her tie with Nicki Minaj. With the current sales update, Cardi is the only rapper to gain a total stream amount of 54 million.
