BEYONCÉ COVERS HARPER'S BAZAAR | TALKS IVY PARK RODEO COLLECTION, INFLUENCE & NEW MUSIC

Ever since her days in Destiny's Child Beyoncé has been known as a singer who has blossomed into a amazing performer who is loved by the industry who continues to be inspired by her. She has truly gone from being a icon in the making to a powerful woman who uses her platform to address many social topics. The 39 year old is now gracing the new cover of Harper's Bazaar once again.

Check out the spread below.
In her interview with the publication she spoke about turning 40 on September 4th & how she is reflecting on her life.

"The first decade of my life was dedicated to dreaming. Because I was a introvert, I didn't speak very much as a child. I spent a lot of time in my head building my imagination. I am now grateful for those shy years of silence. being shy taught me empathy & gave me the ability to connect & relate to people. I'm no longer shy, but I'm not sure I would dream as big as I dream today if it were not for those awkward years in my head."

Bey also goes onto chat about her new Adidas x Ivy Park Rodeo collection that will be released on August  19th.

"This collection is a mixture of my childhood growing up in Texas & a bit of American history. I grew up going to the Houston rodeo every year. It was this amazing diverse & multicultural experience where there was something for every member of the family, including great performers, Houston-style fried Snickers, & fried turkey legs. One of my inspirations came from the overlooked history of the American back cowboy. Many of them were originally called cowhands, who experienced great discrimination & were often forced to work with the worst, most temperamental horses."

Mrs. Knowles-Carter even spoke about the women in her community who have influenced her, how she takes care of herself & when her fans can expect new music from her.
