6IX9INE ’TATTLETALES’ ALBUM SALES ON THE DECLINE

Earlier this year Tekashi 6ix9ine was granted an early release from prison. Ever since he was released back into the world he has been full of antics & publicity stunts to gain back his career momentum. While fans praised his social media craziness others felt it was entirely too much aside from constantly being called a snitch. On September 4th the rapper released his surprise album TattleTales without any formal promotion.

More details below.

Tekashi’s album was slated to rack up 150,000 to 160,000 units & was expected to make it to the top of the Billboard 200. Unfortunately just a few days after being released the LP took a dramatic 60% decline bringing in between 40,000 to 50,000.

According to Hits Daily Double the NY controversial rapper is expected to bring in 35,000 to 45,000 for his opening week. These numbers will surely pull him out of gaining the top spot on the music charts, but could possibly get him a top 10 spot.
