The diva has unveiled the forthcoming release of a music project titled The Rarities that will include never before heard music from the beginning of her career to current time.

Carey spoke about the new project saying,
“This one is for you, my fans. It’s to celebrate us, and to thank you for years of pure love and support. I am so grateful to you THE RARITIES album is out October 2. Pre-order now.”
The double disced album will come with 15 unreleased songs that will feature a collaboration with Lauryn Hill on the song ‘Save The Day’. Disc two is a compilation of live music made up of performances from a concert in Tokyo that includes ‘Vision of Love’, ‘Fantasy’, ‘One Sweet Day’ & more hits. The album will come after the release of Carey’s memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey on September 29th. It’ll also come with a ton of surprises in celebration of 30 years in the industry that she has titled #MC30.
