It has been 20 years since the Spice Girls thrilled fans with their very own movie titled Spice World. Two decades later & it seems as though they are taking back to the big screen once again. Currently the ladies minus Posh are on the Spice World 2019 Tour, but that isn’t stopping them from bringing their legacy into a new generation of fans.
According to The Hollywood Reporter the animation department of Paramount studios are in the process of putting together a new Spice Girls movie set for a 2020 release. The animation film will offer classic songs from the ladies along with some fresh material.
Luckily for fans all five members Scary, Baby, Sporty, Ginger, & even Posh Spice have all signed on to be apart of the project. It will surely be exciting for fans to see Posh rejoin the ladies since she opted out of being apart of the grouped reunion tour.
The Spice World movie was release back in 1997 & racked in over $151 million & the films movie budget was only $25 million.
