In 2016 songstress JoJo officially returned to the music industry after going through a stressful time over the past few years to be released from her recording contract with Blackground Records. Since then she has hit the road in support of Leaks, Covers and Mixtapes Tour that ended at the end of June. As of late she has been pretty quiet, but she has enlisted the help of two industry heavyweights to help her make some noise.
More details below.
JoJo was in the studio recently with Bryan-Michael Cox & Jermaine Dupri cooking up some magic. Cox took to social media platform Instagram to share a photo of all three of them with the caption, "Not all superheros wear caps".
Aside from rockin' with JD & Cox in the studio the 27 year old has also been collaborating with Tearce "Kizzo" Keaz, Davix, & Jozzy. It is more than safe to say that the beauty is recording new material for the follow-up album to 2016's Mad Love. In July she spoke with MTY's Sway Calloway about her upcoming project saying:
" You know how hip-hop has influenced my life. I really want to bring that to the forefront of this project & make sure that it's interwoven throughout this entire project."
