Demi Lovato has had a drug addiction in the past & she spent the past few years conquering the battle & remaining sober. Sadly, it has been reported that the singer has been rushed to a Los Angeles hospital due to an overdose.

Details have been given to TMZ that the 25 year old was at a home in the Hollywood Hills around noon today (July 24th) & is currently receiving treatment for a heroin overdose. Back in 2011 Lovato went to a facility to treat her substance addiction along with bipolar disorder, & self harm, but unfortunately she relapsed after exiting the facility. After that she went to a sober living center that lasted for a year & recently she celebrated six years of being sober back in March.
In 2017 Demi opened up about her struggles in the YouTube documentary Simply Complicated where she spoke about her upbringing, living in the spotlight & her drug addiction. Last month she released the song "Sober" & admitted that she has relapsed again.
