At one point in music their was an era where Ashanti & Ja-Rule ruled the industry all with the help of Murda Inc. Together they made history when they collaborated on popular songs like "Always On Time", "Happy", "Down 4 You" & tons more. It's been sometime since they have delivered new music together, but it could be happening a lot sooner then fans think.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z received very positive reviews from Ja-Rule when they released the surprise collaborative album Everything Is Love. The project inspired him to want to put together a similar album with Ashanti & he revealed it via social media.
At Sunday night BET Awards Ms. Ashanti spoke with Entertainment Tonight revealing that for sometime her & Rule has played around with the idea of releasing a joint album together. It is something that they will be embarking on in the very near future.
"Listen, me & Rule, It's so funny because we've been talking about that for so long, but I think now he's like, 'OK, now it's time to do it,;" "So we're going to carve out the time & make it happen."
