WATCH: MONICA TALKS WORKING W/ BRANDY AGAIN



Nearly three years after releasing the Code Red album, r&b singer Monica is revealing some new details about it’s follow-up. In the new interview that Atlanta native spoke on her list of people she would like to work with on the what will be her ninth album.

Monica named dropped Pharrell Williams, Polow Da Don, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, & Dallas Austin as some that she has her eyes on to collaborate with. While chatting with publication Essence she said that she is also on the hunt for up & coming talent to bring something fresh to the new production. She kicked off the Drop The Beat contest to help find new singer/songwriters. 

Essence asked Mrs. Brown about her iconic duet “The Boy Is Mine” with singer Brandy that is coming up on the 20 year anniversary. Aside from the on going beef the ladies have had for many years now she had nothing but positive things to say. It was even more surprising to hear her say that she is open to possibly working with B again. 

“There’s always room for us to work with each other...always!”
