Pink is quickly climbing the music charts with the newly released single "What About Us" & she continued the celebration after it was announced that she would be receiving the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award at this years Mtv Video Music Awards. While many fans cheered her own some seemed to be angry in feeling someone else was more deserving. That someone else was her former rival Christina Aguilera.
Fans of Aguilera began to tweet about Pink not deserving the award & that the "Genie In A Bottle" songstress should get the award. Well, Ms. Pink took the high & very mature road to publicly speak on the matter via twitter.
In the past Pink & Xtina have had some issues, but as stated in the tweets they have made amends & the slack is clean. Quite honestly, shouldn't Xtina fans be more concerned as to when she will release a new single/album? I feel like that is more important as this stage rather then a award.
