K. Michelle has been on the fast track as a growing music artist with a universal sound that expands greatly beyond the r&b genre. With her debut album Rebellious Soul being a success & her sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? just days from being released she is on a total high. K. Michelle is gracing the Sexy issue of Kontrol magazine dressed in all white & her fire red hair.
In the cover issue she speaks on topics ranging from the journey through her new album, accepting her body & her love life. Her new reality show K. Michelle: My Life is currently airing on VH1 & viewers have seen her entering the dating scene all over again as she attempts to break down her emotional walls.

Kontrol: You said this past relationship inspired your newest project, but what caused you to stay?
Michelle: Chile, I was in love! I felt like this man was my soul mate. I had never experienced anything like it. It was amazing to be with someone who was equally as creative. He was a muse.
Kontrol: How did you reach a point of being so comfortable in your body? How long did it take you to reach that place?
Michelle: I’m not sure. I think you just get to a point where you’re like, “This is who I am, take it or leave it.” I was in New York recently and someone gave me a hat that said, “I’m beautiful as f*ck” and I fell in love with it; because of how confident a person has to be to wear a hat like that. I think more [it’s] than being comfortable with my body, I’m comfortable with being myself.
