Back in the 1990's Mariah Carey was known for having one of the most influential vocal ranges in the industry with notes to impress any crowd, but as time has gone on those show stopping octaves have become a thing of the past. Over the past few years fans of the award winning songstress have wondered what has happened to that once golden voice that has merely dwindled away. Carey recently kicked off The Elusive Chanteuse Show Tour in Asia & while many attended the show in hopes of witnessing the divas amazing voice that received something completely opposite of that. During the show Mariah noticeably had a very hard time reaching many of her notes & even spoke some of the sung parts of song, for example "Vision of Love" & "My All". Could it be that all of the years of vocal strain & not enough vocal rest has permanently damaged her angelic voice?
