JOJO RELEASED FROM BLACKGROUND RECORDS & SIGNS W/ ATLANTIC RECORDS

One of music's most underrated singers JoJo has been going through a lot with her music career due to the fact that she has been stuck in a record contract with her label Blackground Records for some years now. The strong disagreements has halted the release of her third album resulting in her only being able to release free mixtapes with the latest being Agape. I spoke with the songstress a few months ago where she speaks on her trying to break free of her contract with the label.

CHeck it out after the jump.

After all of the drama JoJo is finally free from the label that has tied her down from her music creativity. According to The Los Angeles Times she has now signed a new recording contract with Atlantic Records that is also the home to artists K. Michelle, Jonelle Monae, Wiz Khalifa & Bruno Mars. Last July JoJo filed a lawsuit against the record label demanding that she be released from them & it's imprint Da Family Records. Her fans have also provided their help by campaigning via social media in efforts to speeding up the process of getting her released.
