Ever since Nicki Minaj has become a mainstream female rap superstar she has been compared to Brooklyn native Lil' Kim's style & fashion. Within the past year Kim fans have accused Minaj of swagga jackin' the How Many Licks rapper from her colorful wigs to her fashion costumes, but is it just a harmless coincidence or it is blatant copying? Numerous times Nicki has been caught duplicating many outfits that Kim has worn earlier in her rap career back in the 90's, for example Minaj recently began shooting the music video for Willow Smith's new single "Fire Ball" where she is seen wearing a dress covered with colorful Care Bears. Lil' Kim also wore something just like some years ago, but the only difference was that she was wearing a jean skirt. We all know that Lil' Kim's rap career hasn't been going very well these past few years so maybe Nicki Minaj is purposely doing it to laugh in her face while she continues to rule the Billboard charts, but you be the judge.
