This week has been a jam packed promo week for Nicki Minaj as she has been bringing the Queen album to the masses. While she is currently in her hometown of New York she did a very special interview with Genius in front of an audience full of her Barbz. The special segment for was titled Nicki Minaj: Lyrical Queen where her talent as a writer was celebrated in a way that it has never been in the past years.
Genius is popular for delivering the lyrics to tons of songs from your favorite artists so throughout the course of the interview the host went through some of his favorite Minaj lyrics old & new & Nicki explained the story behind those lyrics. The highlight of the interview was not just reciting Nicki lyrics, but understanding that she is more than rapper of the surface but a rapper who has depth & layers to her lyrics.
