Mariah Carey has teased a fresh new snippet of her collaboration with rapper YG titled "I Don't". Tonight will be the finale of her docu-series & in a scene it shows her in the studio recording the record that was produced by Bryan-Michael Cox & longtime industry friend Jermaine Dupri. The record used a 1999 sample from Donnell Jones' song "Where I Wanna Be".
Peep the new snippet below.
"We stole a moment in time / gave you everything that you needed / I was even down to repeat it. / Cause when you love someone, you just don't treat them bad."
In the footage of her in the studio you see Carey singing the break-up song & then she removes her engagement ring that sparked the speculation that the record is about her ex-fiancé James Packer. The full version of the song will premiere on Friday, January 3rd.
