WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS LAST NIGHT?

So did you stay up last night to watch the American Music Awards? If so, what was your favorite part of the show? I would have to say that my fave moment was the Drake commercial showing him vibing to Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood". Let's talk about the award show some more and I am going to give out my "Yaaas Awards" to some of my favorite looks. 

Host, Jay Pharoah looked Dapper

The American Music Awards was hosted by comedian Jay Pharoah and model Gigi Hadid. They did a good job keeping the crowd entertained as they joked around and did some pretty good impersonations. Pharoah gave his best Jay Z and Kanye West impersonations, while Gigi threw shade while impersonating Melania Trump.... facial expressions and all. Bruno Mars opened up the show with a performance of "24K Magic" that got the crowd moving and ready for the rest of the show. There was a sexy performance of "Side to Side" from Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, who gave some hot dance moves. DJ Khaled brought out Rick Ross, August Alsina, Nicki Minaj and Future to perform "Do You Mind" and of course Khaled brought crazy energy as always. Sting played a medley of his hits and took home the Award of Merit award, which was presented by Robert Downey Jr. Justin Bieber performed "Let Me Love You" and had the fans all in tears. There were also performances from John Legend, Lady Gaga, Fifth Harmony, and The Weeknd, amongst others. Kendrick Lamar joined Maroon 5 to close out the show with a performance of "

Let's talk winners for the night! Fifth Harmony took home their first AMA for Collaboration of the Year with Ty Dolla $ign on their hit song "Work From Home". Ariana Grande fought back tears as she accepted the award for Artist of the Year. Presenting the first award of the night, Taraji Henson, Janelle Monae, and Octavia Spencer looked amazing while do so. All that black girl magic was just sparkling! Drake took home the AMA for Favorite Album - Rap/Hip-Hop for Views, as well as for Favority Artist - Rap/ Hip-Hop . Teyana Taylor announced the winner for New Artist of the Year, which happened to be Zayne from One Direction. Zaddy, as Taylor called him, definitely earned that award. Prince's sister accepted the award for Top Soundtrack for Purple Rain on his behalf and promised that his legacy would live on. There were lots of winners last night so congratulations to everybody that took an award home.

Now let's get to these "Yaaas Awards" that I have to give out.
