Come through Honeyyyy!!! Teyana Taylor slays again as she covers Paper Magazine. The sexy singer had a lot to talk about in the interview, from being a mother to her relationship with G.O.O.D Boss Kanye West. Of course she has some hot shots throughout the article, that's just what she does!
Taylor also talked about Kanye's video for "Fade" in which she was featured in. She had the following to say: "It was a do-or-die moment where I was like, "I'm going to dance my fucking heart out". She felt like her role in the video was to show the power of women and her journey as an artist. "I honestly don't feel like 'Fade' would have had the same effect had I just been 21, hot body, and single".
After the video, Teyana also appeared in West's Yeezy Season 4 show during NYFW. She talked about how she was "nervous as hell" seeing Anna Wintour. "I saw the posture, I saw the bangs, I saw the bob, and I saw the shades, and I said, "Anna's here". That's when my nervousness really turned up. I love Anna. I'm obsessed with her".
Do you remember first seeing Taylor on T.V. during her epic 80's-90's themed Sweet 16? All I could think was this girl is dope with this big ole hair, in which she has since chopped off. She was also signed to Pharrell's Star Trak Entertainment and spoke on growing up in the industry and the pressure that some people put on her. She said, "I never had the time to fail, to fall and get back up and try again. People would get up on me like, "You've been doing it for seven years now, you might as well give up".
