NICK JONAS & DEMI LOVATO CANCEL NORTH CAROLINA CONCERTS OVER ANTI-LGBT LAW

It's always a good thing to see celebrities stand for world issues & using there fame to bring much needed awareness. Nick Jonas & Demi Lovato will be teaming up together to go on the Future Now tour that'll begin on June 24th in Florida. Sadly, that had to disappoint fans & cancel two show dates because of a very hateful new law. Both singers are joining the boycott of North Carolina's new anti-trans law & have cancelled the concert shows in both Raleigh & Charlotte.

More details after the cut.

Both made the cancellation announced via Facebook as the stated the reason on why they both made the decision.

The show in Charlotte was scheduled to take place on June 30th followed by Raleigh on July 2nd. This past Monday, the legislation aimed to repeal HB 2 that would help to provide funding for a Human Rights Commission in that state & was introduced by four democratic representatives in the state. Just last month, Jonas attended the GLAAD Media Awards in Manhattan, NY where he presented Lovato with the Vanguard Award.
