Before singer/actress Brandy opened up a new chapter in her life when she joined the cast of Broadway's very popular Chicago she was working on the follow-up album to 2012's Two Eleven. Reportedly she has plan to release a 5 song EP with the help of DJ Camper who has worked with the likes of Ne-Yo, Nicki Minaj & Mariah Carey. Over the course of the past weeks while promoting Chicago in recent interviews she stated many times that she would not continue working on the album until her current time on Broadway came to an end.

DJ Camper exclusively spoke with You Know I Got Soul & revealed that fans should not expect a "Brandy in the club" vibe for this project, but it will be more of "stadium" & "arena" music.
“She called me and she wants to do a mixtape or EP with me. It’s just something for the fans and for the people. It’s going to be a 5 song type of thing, so we’re definitely working on that. Be on the lookout for that very soon. Working with her is a joy and she’s one of my idols. I think we can change the world especially in R&B and Soul music. It doesn’t get any better than that!”
Also during the chat, Camper gave some insight on what the sound of the music will be for this forthcoming EP:
“It’s something refreshing. I’m not putting Brandy in the club. You won’t hear Brandy in the strip club or in elements like that. When you think of Brandy now, think of stadium status or arenas. Think of like the movie 300 with the Romans. It’s going to be big and classic. That’s what I’m having her around this time around. If you think Coldplay is big, watch what Brandy does.”
Their has been much speculation that Brandy will be joining the popular & hit television show Empire, she's ben asked about it in recent interviews but says that it's all just a rumor but is it really? After checking out her instagram account I noticed that their were many hash tags in her bio & one of them stood out & it said #Empire. While I will continue to wait for a official confirmation I strong suspect that she will indeed be apart of the cast in the second season that kicks off sometime in September.
