ARIANA GRANDE & JESSIE J TO REMAKE "THE BOY IS MINE" BY BRANDY & MONICA

Ariana Grande & Jessie J has proven that they make a great team ever since the release of their joint collaboration on "Bang Bang" that featured Nicki Minaj. As the single continues to climb the charts it looks like the singing duo has plans to create magic once again with the help of a classic hit. 2015 will see both Grande & J be apart of a monumental project as they will be covering a old 90's r&b hit that is shockingly a big surprise.

Peep all the details after the jump.

During a recent interview with Hits Daily Double super producer Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins has revealed details about a very special greatest hits project that he will be putting together. Jerkins says that project will feature a combination of new versions & some originals versions of the smash hit records that he has produced over the course of his very successful hit making career.

Rodney has now confirmed with HDD that both Jessie J & Ariana Grande will be joining his greatest hits project as they will be remaking Brandy & Monica's smash record "The Boy Is Mine" that was released back in 1998.

What else is coming up for you in 2015?

"Next year is my 20-year anniversary and I’m doing a very special project. Some originals as well as reimagined hits. So for example, I’ll do the “The Boy Is Mine” with Ariana and Jesse J. Sam is doing “It’s Not Right It’s Okay” by Whitney Houston, which Sam told me was the song that made him want to sing. When I asked him if he’d be a part of this project he was like, “No one else can do that song but me!” Sam’s the truth. He has a great heart and he’s genuine. His music speaks for who he is. This is a project I’m really looking forward to."
