NICKI MINAJ TALKS "ANACONDA" & FIRST JOB W/ GQ MAGAZINE


Nicki Minaj has come full circle has a rap artist & all around business women since her earlier years as a striving mixtape artist looking for her big break into the industry. Next month she will be releasing her 3rd studio album The Pink Print that has so far served up it's first single the controversial "Anaconda" that was sampled from Sir Mix-A-Lot's classic record "Baby Got Back". In the November issue of GQ magazine Onika flaunts her more toned down appearance that many have taken a liking too. The hip-hop queen was photographed by Mark Seliger while dressed in a revealing white peek-a-boo bra styled top & a blue pencil skirt with to adorable pink & blue poodles as accessories. 

Last month the publication spoke with Minaj about her earlier years where she worked at Red Lobster restaurant as a waitress & as in the customer service field. During the interview she speaks on the popularity of the "Anaconda" music video where she says, " I just see the video as being a normal video."

On her natural look: "I always thought that by the time I put out a third album, I would want to come back to natural hair & natural makeup. I thought, I will shock the world again & just be more toned down. I thought that would be more shocking than to keep on doing exactly what they had already seen."

On her customer service job: "I like dealing with people, but I don't really like a lot of bullshit, so maybe customer service wasn't the best job for me."


On the video for "Anaconda" cover art: "I just said I'll put it out, never thought in a billion years that people would be putting [other] people's heads on it. It's the craziest shit."
