Beyoncé has proven to be a force to be reckoned with & with every new project she leaves the world in amazement. Fans all over the world are awaiting the premiere of the new Lion King movie where she will be voicing the role of Nala. Ahead of it’s premiere Queen Bey has announced the new album title The Lion King: The Gift.
Bey has brought together many of her favorite artists to contribute to the album through the beautiful sounds of music. She is the executive producer of the album & also contributed some new music.
According to the press release The Lion King: The Gift is a “love letter to Africa” and “features a beautiful, multi-genre symphony, steeped in African influences from various corners of the Continent, with unexpected collaborations, pulsating rhythms and crisp production that celebrate the African diaspora.”
The first track to be unveiled from the album is titled “Spirit” which is performed & produced by Beyoncé. The rousing song was penned by Timothy McKenzie, Beyoncé, & IIya Salmanzadeh. The Lion King album will be released on Friday, July 19th.
