CARDI B "OKURRR" TRADEMARK REQUEST DENIED

Recently Cardi B tried to trademark her signature "Okurr" phrase, but unfortunately for her it has been rejected. The Bronx rapper strongly believes that she is the one who has made the phrase popular & wanted to trademark it to reap the financial benefits.

More details after the cut.

Cardi received information from the U.S. Patent and Trademark that the "Okurrr" phrase is something that is commonly used by many & simply couldn't be trademarked for her career benefit. They told her that it "is a slogan or term that doesn't not function as a trademark or service mark to indicate the source of applicant's goods and/or services."

It also didn't help that the Kardashian's have also used the catchphrase & many fans have already took it upon themselves to file a trademark for it a while before she had decided to do so. Aside from these facts, it simply can't be denied that Cardi B has turned "Okurrr" into a super popular phrase & most people use it because of her use of it.
