Beyoncé has a very strong & supportive fan base & we all know much of her dance music has enlightened their lives on many dance floors all over the world. Last night she & husband Jay-Z were honored at the 30th Annual 2019 GLAAD Media Awards with the Vanguard award.
A few short years ago Jay’s mother Gloria Carter came out as being a lesbian & that has helped him to be an advocate for the LGBTQ community in the hip-hop community. The power couple proudly accepted their award as Jay spoke about his mother & Bey remembered her late uncle Johnny.
Before they accepted the award they both sat in the crowd & watched RuPaul’s Drag Race star Shangela delivered a rousing performance of a Beyoncé medley that let them both with genuine smiles.
