It’s been a very long 5 years since the brown boned beauty Kelly Rowland released her last studio album Talk A Good Game. In between that time she has done some acting, became a mother to her son Titan, & even tried out some new entrepreneurial endeavors, but what about the music?
Rowland hasn’t forgotten about the music as she has been in the studio working & recording new material for the new LP. She is currently gearing up to hit the stage for the RNB Live Tour, but recently she spoke with News AU & gave an update on the new album.
“I’m happy to have some freedom. You can do it yourself now. It’s an interesting place to be but it’s also expensive when you do it yourself. You need a good distributor for sure, I’d like to have some distribution options on the table.”
According to the new information, one of the delays of the album is the fact that she is in between record deals. This definitely makes the process a lot more difficult especially not having the financial backing of a label to foot the bill of recording & releasing an album. We can only hope that we get a new single & album a lot sooner than later.
