Today is National Women's Day & in celebration of that Fashion Bomb Daily has done as special feature on the one & only Brandy. For the March 2017 cover the singer/actress talks about everything ranging from being a mother to what her definition of a strong woman is. The special feature give you a deeper look at who the vocal bible is & she even strikes a few fierce poses for the camera.

"The definition of a strong woman is when you can hold your ground & you can be firm about your life & the things that you want & the things that you deserve; it's when you know what you're worth & how you value yourself."
Brandy salutes her mother Sonja Norwood as being a perfect example of what a strong woman is & who she has been to her within her life.
"She has always been there for me. She has always shown so much strength in so many different circumstances in both of our lives together. She's always tried to remind me that I'm here for a reason & I'm here for a huge purpose. She tells me to not let anyone try to diminish just why GOD created me. It took me awhile to really get that. But, I have it now. I am grateful, & humbled & thankful to her for waiting for me to get to this point."
Having a strong example to follow that was given by her mother, it has helped to mold Brandy into the mother she is to her daughter Sy'rai.
"Being a mother has completely turned me into an example. You can't be a hypocrite. You can't teach your children anything if you're not doing it yourself. I lead by what I do. I remember what it was like to be a child. Mixing those two things together means you can get a great relationship with your children. You can help them to be strong & help guide them."
