TLC SETS JUNE RELEASE FOR NEW STUDIO ALBUM

In January of 2015 the legendary girl group TLC launched Kickstarter campaign to held raise funds for their next & final studio album. After weeks of getting fans involved with giving them incentives for donating various amounts of money they racked up more than $430,000 & after those same fans began to worry they would never get the album the ladies say it's on the way.

More details below.

TLC's manager Bill Diggins announced that the project is expected to be released sometime at the end of June & that all of 4,201 people who helped & donated will be receiving a copy of the album before the official release.

"This album could not have happened without your support & your confidence in TLC has inspired us greatly to make th best album possible, says Bill. We would have loved to have delivered this album sooner to you, but we are confident that you will agree that it was worth the wait when you hear it. The pursuit of excellence is never an easy task & always takes longer than expected."

Sadly according to Bill D. the project was delayed for various reasons, "it took a lot more time to coordinate schedules with writers, TLC's executive producer Ron Fair & recording sessions than anticipated. I could go on in more detail to explain how TLC's touring schedule, writing schedule & producing schedule was delayed, but the simple fact is that T-Boz & Chilli were inspired to make a record that they could be proud of & they would not settle for less & sometimes you just cannot rush art. They demanded of themselves a record that would stand up to the great body of work created in the past & that you would be proud of; because your belief & support is the greatest form of love & we want you to be proud."
