DRAKE ANNOUNCES NEW PROJECT AND DROPS 4 NEW SONGS

First things first, let's start this post off right by wishing Drake a Happy 30th Birthday!! I'm sure he enjoyed his weekend, and there is a cute video of his parents singing Happy Birthday to him while he cheeses on the sideline. Over the weekend, he released four new songs, as well as announced a new project titled More Life.

Drake took over OVO Sound Radio for his special birthday episode and made the announcement of the new project. More Life is set to drop in December actually so the fans don't have to wait long at all. Clearly Drizzy was in a gift giving mood for his birthday weekend because he later dropped 4 new songs, 3 of which will appear on what he calls the "playlist", not a mixtape.

The songs that he released, "Two Birds, One Stone", "Wanna Know (Remix)" feat. Dave, "Fake Love" and "Sneakin'" feat. 21 Savage gave a variety of feel good. I can see the ladies loving "Fake Love", in which there was only a snippet given of the track. "Sneakin'" seems like it references the rifts going with the Cash Money/Young Money family. It also talks about his shorty texting purple hearts to him cause she knows that they're at war. That triggered all type of assumptions and if you go to Rihanna's Instagram pics, you will find floods of purple hearts all in the comments.

For some reason, rap beef loves to finds its way to Drake, sometimes he addresses and other times, he keeps quiet. Lets just say he chooses his battles wisely. Well one beef that he is not backing down from is the one with fellow rapper Kid Cudi. The Canadian rapper threw more shade Cudi's way in "Two Birds, One Stone" rapping, "I like your old shit, but wasn't in love with the latest. You were the man on the moon, now you just go through your phases". Many people are saying that Drake took it too far considering that Kid Cudi has checked himself into rehab. I say all is fair in a rap beef and when you call somebody out, you have to expect the consequences and deal with them accordingly. Lastly, "Wanna Know" is originally a rapper from London by the name of Dave's song. Drake just hopped on the remix and showed love to the rapper.

Take a listen to the songs below and get yourself ready to get More Life in December!
