NICK JONAS COVERS 'OUT' MAGAZINE & TALKS RUMORS OF 'GAY - BAITING' THE LGBT COMMUNITY & MORE

Nick Jonas is preparing for the release of his sophomore album Last Year Was Complicated with a slew of public appearances & interviews. The former One Direction singer is on the June/July 2016 cover of OUT magazine showing off his handsome charm.

For the cover issue he speaks on many topics ranging from new music & his love life, but he has takes aim at his critics who feel like he's been 'gay-baiting'/ purposely using the LGBT community for his own personal gain by taking on many gay influenced television roles.

More details below.

On criticism of allegedly 'gay baiting' the LGBT community:

"It's not the majority, but a large handful have a negative opinion for whatever reason," he says, "and I think it's really quite sad."

On choosing to name the album "Last Year Was Complicated":

"When I was working on this album, Jay-Z asked me what it was about," he announces. "I said it was about the past year of my life, and that the year it was complicated. Jay - Z said, 'That's the name of your album: Complicated.'"

On dating while in the public spotlight:

"It definitely sucks. It's sort of feels like, on top of dealing with the situation with the person, you have to be thinking about other peoples opinion about it, and without all of that information."

The OUT magazine issue hits newsstands on May 24th, but you can check out Nick's full interview with the publication HERE.
