Yesterday unfortunate news hit the internet that singer/actress Brandy was suing her record label Chameleon Entertainment for breech of contract. The company is trying to get her to sign a new contract that will see them double dip in profits that they will be able to receive funds from their company & Epic Records (get all the details HERE). If she doesn't sign the contract her voice will be silenced because she will not be legally allowed to record or release any new music.
As soon as fans found out about what was going on they banded together to show their support for the singer with the hashtag #FreeBrandy.

Brandy has not publicly spoken about the legal matter, but she posted a video on her instagram showing her working out with her trainer with a unreleased song by her titled "Freedom" playing in the background.
The song is a unreleased track from her Human album that never made the final cut for the actual album, but this song is perfect for what she is legally going through at the present moment. We hope that once the matter is finalized that the judge & jury will #FreeBrandy.
