EXCLUSIVE: RH INTERVIEWS TWEET TALKS NEW ALBUM CHARLENE, STATE OF R&B MUSIC & MORE

It has been over 10 years since songstress Tweet released her last album It's Me Again back in 2005. In the beginning of her music career it was her hits like "Oops (Oh My)" & "Call Me" that made the world fall in love with her smooth voice. Over the course of the past decade she has released various singles, but no album was ever released during that time, until now. In 2014 the southern hummingbird made her official return to the scene with the unveiling of the single "Won't Hurt Me" followed by "Magic", "Neva Shoulda Left Ya" & the Missy Elliott assisted "Somebody Else Will"

Raw Hollywood had the pleasure of catching up with Tweet to talk about her long awaited new album titled Charlene. During our chat she went into detail on exactly why she took some time off from the music industry & how that time has made her a better person. She spoke on first returning to the studio after so long & working with her rapper friend Missy Elliott. Tweet even opened up about the current state of the r&b sound & how it is not as authentic as it once was.

Check out the interview after the jump.
