It's been over a year since the impactful girl group TLC made headlines when they announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign where fans would help fund the groups next album & would receive prizes in return. To show support many celebrities like pop singer Katy Perry also donated to the campaign & in total brought in over $430,000 by the time the funding process came to an end.
Last year fans began to grow very impatient when they group hadn't released the album as promised in the beginning. Now that we are in a new year the question still remains....what is the status of TLC's next studio album?

1/3 of the group Chilli spoke with Billboard this week & spoke about the long awaited album & it's hold up.
"We're trying to finish up the album, and after today, it will be day in, day out, just getting this album done."
Unfortunately she did not give more specific details, but she did give just a little bit more hopefully satisfy fans in the waiting process.
"I'll just say this: We're bringing back our interludes. We've come up with some really fun, funny stuff for people to."
Hopefully since fans have already been waiting over a year for the album they do not continue to grow more & more impatient. It would not be good for fans to begin to attack TLC before the release of their comeback music effort.
Chilli has also debut a brand new solo song of her own entitled "Body" that's apart of a new dance workout.
