WATCH: NICKI MINAJ RECITES MAYA ANGELOU POEM "STILL I RISE"


For many decades the world has fallen victim to the brunt of many racial issues especially when the topic of police brutality has been put on a platform. Some of the industries biggest celebrities came together to boldly confront the many issues revolving around racism & to help promote uniting as one at the A+E Networks & iHeartMedia's 'Shining A Light: A Concert for Progress On Race in America

This past Wednesday the 2 hour special was taped in Los Angeles at The Shrine Auditorium that featured the sounds of Jamie Foxx, Miguel, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Sia, Jill Scott, Ed Sheeran & Pharrell Williams. Rap queen Nicki Minaj use her voice to recite the famous Maya Angelou poem "Still I Rise" that speaks on racism, misogyny & sexuality.
