NEW VIDEO: SAM SMITH "LAY ME DOWN" #WEAREALLEQUAL #LGBT


Their is not denying that Sam Smith is a breath of fresh air to the music industry with his soothing singing voice. The "Stay With Me" singer is using his talent to positively stand up for gay marriage & equality with the music video for his song "Lay Me Down". The record has been lifted from his debut album In The Lonely Hour that was released in 2014. The visual was filmed in a church in London & shows him mourning the lose of his husband as the people of the congregation holds candles in remembrance. Smith has used this special music video & has dedicated it to all of the people of the gay & transgender community.

Sam took to his instagram account & spoke with his fans about the visual & expressed how much it means to him. 

"The 'Lay Me Down' music video holds a very dear place in my heart. With this video, myself & Ryan Hope the director have decided to make a statement & showcase something we passionately believe in."
